When you become a Delt, you are part of an organization that teaches and supports individuals to live the Delt mission: Committed to Lives of Excellence. Our mission is more than just a bunch of words: our mission is a declaration of our future, the place where we want to stand in all life’s challenges and experiences. Our mission is what drives us, motivates us and keeps us focused in life. Our mission and values are not only a reflection of the Fraternity’s history and accomplishments; the mission and values are also the future of the Fraternity, the purpose of the organization. By pledging Delta Tau Delta, you will commit to be responsible in everything you do to ensure that your actions reflect a life of excellence. Delta Tau Delta was founded on the principles of Truth, Courage, Faith and Power. It is in the heart and spirit of every Delt to pursue a life full of brotherhood and life-long learning. A vital part of any organization’s foundation is its ability to proliferate and expand upon individual membership to solidify the longevity of its own existence . Delta Tau Delta believes in recruiting and retaining the brightest and most talented leaders of the community, both in the classroom and in the real world. Rush at Westminster is a unique and nationally recognized event for being one of the best Rush programs in the nation. Every male student in good academic standing is welcome to participate. It is encouraged for each student to see if the Greek experience is for him. Even if you decide not to go Greek, the friends you make during Rush, both other freshman and upperclassman, is worth the experience. We believe that by committing to a life long journey of learning and brotherhood, you will continue to be successful in all areas in your life. We will challenge our new members to be active and get involved in the school, the community and the house, and live a life full of Truth, Courage, Faith, and Power. |
